At HomeLife Don is responsible for the overall directon of HomeLife activities. Included are areas of consulting and planning, real estate development, construction and renovation services, market and economic feasibility studies, comprehensive physical plant needs assessment, and management services. Don earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Capital University, Columbus, Ohio. He has served on the Housing and Services Committee and the National Development Task Force for the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA). He is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Ohio with reciprocity in various states. Active in community affairs, Don completed serving as the city council-at-large representative. This experience has given Don broad insights into community affairs. He served on the Salvation Army Board of Directors and was the Chairman of the Property Committee. |

After twelve years of service in the continuing care retirement community development, management and real estate fields, Don founded HomeLife Companies, Inc. In his combined twenty-four years of experience, Don has developed, marketed and/or managed over 375 congregate care, assisted living, dementia, and health care facilities throughout the United States. He served as Vice-President and Chief Development, Marketing and Housing Officer for United Church Homes, Inc. of Marion, Ohio. Additionally, he served as the Director of Development Services and Regional Manager for National Church Residences, Columbus, Ohio.
